Lake Titisee ist THE hotspot of the Black Forest. It is the starting point of many different activities in the region such as hiking in the beautiful nature or visiting Freiburg with its iconic cathedral “Münster” and its world famous “Bächle”, little rivers that run thru the city.

The pation on the roof on the first floor of the new building offers a boulder wall, especially designed for the Hotel Coucou. Expect much fun when climbing this wall! The boulder wall is only permitted for in house guest and is to be used at your own risk.

The experts from Sportivo have moved into the ground floor of the new building. In addition to a high-quality selection of cardio and strength equipment, professional physiotherapy awaits you here. Entry for our hotel guests to the gym is € 15 pp/day or is free with the Hansefit card.

The world famous Lake Titisee, one of the iconic landmarks of the Black Forest, is only 5 minutes away from the hotel. The lake offers many activities such as walking along the lake side and visiting one of its many shops or restaurants. The Badeparadies Schwarzwald is also located just a few minutes away from the hotel.

Nordic walking, bike riding and hiking has a long tradition in the Black Forest. The locals love to be outside in the beautiful nature, for that reason, there are many hiking paths in the Black Forest. There are even some very hidden paths for more explored hikers!

The Black Forest is world famous since 1891 as a winter sports region. Everything such as alpine ski slopes, snowboarding, special winter path hiking or slide racing is offered all over the region. Most famous is the Feldberg, which is only 15 Minutes away!

The beautiful university city of Freiburg is only 30km away and is very easily reached by car or train. The historical old city of Freiburg offers many restaurants and shops. An insider tip is, besides the famous Münsterwurst, grilled sausages sold near the cathedral, is the Saftlädele, which sells fresh juices. With the KONUS Card you can use the city tram for free.
